Rising Sun Scholarship Application Guidlines & Eligibility

Petition form
1. Students admitted through the "Rising Sun Project" channel or students recommended by the "Special Selection Admissions Committee".
2. Students who meet the low-income certificate issued by the government for the current year (must attach a valid certificate of economic disadvantage issued by the government).
3. Other economically disadvantaged students.
4. Applicants must have a passing academic grade average in the previous school year, an A-level conduct, and no disciplinary record. New students admitted through the "Rising Sun Project" admission channel or students recommended by the "Rising Sun Project Admissions Committee" are not subject to performance restrictions.

  1. Freshmen admitted through the "Rising Sun Project" admission channel or freshmen recommended by the "Special Selection Admissions Committee" will have their names sent to the Life Counseling Team by the "Rising Sun Project Admissions Committee" and there is no need to apply.
  2. After obtaining admission qualifications, applications should be submitted before August 20th. Applications that are late or have incomplete information will not be accepted and reviewed.
- Returning students or students who are renewing their application: From July 1st to July 31st each year, applications that are late or have incomplete information will not be accepted and reviewed.

2. Autobiography Part B (about 500 words, please download the attached form to write)
3. Academic year transcript (no need for new students)
4. Documents proving economic vulnerability in the current year (low-income, low-medium-income, special circumstances issued by the township or city office, and certificate of poverty issued by the district chief are exempt from payment)
5. Proof of income and property of the whole household (must be accompanied by copies of the household registration within three months, annual income tax information of the whole household, property ownership list of the whole household and other relevant certificates; the whole household refers to parents, brothers, sisters, brothers, etc. , including oneself)
6. Teacher recommendation letter (no need for new students)
7. Study report (no need for new students, please download the attached form to write)
8. A handwritten thank you letter of about 500 words to the donor (no need for new students, please download the attached form to write)
9. Read in detail the implementation points and signature of the Rising Sun Scholarship (please download the attached form to write)
10. Commitment letter ( to be paid when applying for or receiving this scholarship for the first time, please download the attached form to write)
